What to Pack?

BOPcon is an elevated conference, so you’ll find that our attendees tend to dress the part.
Studies show that when you dress for success your confidence elevates, you are more focused on details, and your peers perceive you as a leader.
Though entirely optional, we recommend clothing that speaks to the picture of success you want to project. Business casual and fashion-forward attire are perfectly suited while studying the business of photography. -
Besides business casual conference attire, you may want to pack these additional items:
• Bathing suit and sunblock.
• Comfortable walking shoes if heading out to the nearby parks and attractions.
• BARBIE THEMED Party outfit to dance the night away at the Closing Celebration. If weather permits, we will be poolside on the outdoor lawn, so wedges or flats are recommended.
• Jacket or sweater. Though typically mild, Florida temps can dip to 50 and below in the morning and evening. Be comfortable and prepared with layers.
• If you have a ticket to our exclusive invite-only $10k Club Gala, the dress is creative black tie. Think red carpet! -
You’ll definitely want to snap some selfies but no, you won’t be needing your pro camera gear. We’ve intentionally omitted shoot-outs and portfolio builds from the schedule so that you can focus entirely on your business success.

Absolutely! We’ve negotiated a reduced room rate and discounted resort fee at the host hotel, Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld. This rate is also available for up to 3 days before and after the conference in case you want to extend your trip.
